How do you dye 1B human hair wigs?

These lace wig sites say its possible, but I havent been able to. When I use it, all it does is slightly tint the hair.

Do you have to use bleach first to get noticable auburn highlights?

You can certainly go darker but I wouldn't try to go lighter unless it's virgin. The hair is already processed and you run the risk of destroying your unit. Check out YT for dyeing tips.

On a 1b you would have to bleach first or add a packet of bleach to the dye. Box dye can only lift two levels. Also some vendors use fabric dye to color the darker colors. That's why I always get virgin color.
