I still air dry from time to time on appr. 20 huge hair rollers. No risk of tangling if you roll carefuly. See how it looks on the attached pic
It works very well, BUT it is very long to dry - 4 to 5 hours - and with a head SO big, it is not always fun - as on the picture here. At the end of the day I prefer the pain of the hood dryer.
