How do I know if my hair is FINE?

I know im fine haired from the thickness or each individual strands. Sometimes, i will find a thick strand and it would look like it ate one of my normally fine ones. My mom has medium/thick strands and you can tell the difference if you take one and put it side by side.

I've heard that before too but I think that's density. Like some people can have thin strands but have a lot of them. My hair is fine (the strands are thin) and I don't have that many of them. For every 1 strand of hair on my head a thick haired person might have 3 or 4 strands. You can really see it when my hair is straight.

I find some thick strands, too. They look like they don't belong on my head.
