ive just stepped on the braidout train. i love the shape of curls they make. im doing them on blowdried hair..recently ive flat ironed my hair n did a braid out on it..n its not too flat..not too big. just the way i like it..

so my question is how do i get a flatter braid out on blowdried hair..
mines always comes out too fluffy.

ooh on flat ironed hair what i used was shea moisture curl and style milk

when i did it on the blow dried hair. i used the shea moisture milk and some cantu shea butter leave in conditioning cream.. maybe i need something really heavy?

I was thinking maybe whipped shea butter..cuz it doesnt have any water content like shea moisture.. and i use shea butter whipped with coconut oil, evoo and fragrance oil on my skin, Will this mix work?

thanks in advance for the replies!

Not sure about using a heavier product, but French braids, two strand flat twist, and Platts that are braided overhand help.

Use a setting agent such as setting lotion or a foam. It will help in clumping the hair together which will result in flatter braids. I use Lottabody. I have a YouTube video on my braid n curls, which is a braid out with the ends curled.

Btw, your styles will also last a lot longer too
