Cosigning...its a very nice wig or fall. You can tell from looking at the center of the hairline. Her body is off the charts in my opinion

thanks ladies! I actually thought she had a sewn in weave.....this just goes to show you how much I NEED you ladies!;)

You may still be right. We're just sure that's its not growing from her scalp

You can get that look with a sew in.

The hair I used for my weave looks like that.

I got it from Super Hair Factory. I got the Kinky Smooth Hand tied cuticle and flat ironed before it was used. It also blow dries straight after a wash.

it also blends very well with my type 4 relaxed hair.

thanks HoneyDew! Do you have you regimen for your sewn in weave in your album? My goal is to keep the weave in for 3 months can I do that w/the kinky smooth hair that you used?
thanks in advance

Well the hair will last that long with proper care, but it really depends on the technique you get. I got a sew in about 6 weeks ago and I tried to get it to last longer, but I had gotten too much build up. But, with sew ins, you can just wash and condition and get it sewn back in for as long as you want. I used hisandher kinky straight from their "mink" line that time, but it just cost too much for the thin weft that I prefer to use. I think the 14" is $130 for 4 oz and always buy 8 oz. The hisandher kinky matched very well after I flat ironed it, but it started to get tangly towards the end. The machine weft is way too thick to get a natural flat look.

The superhairfactory kinky smooth is not as coarse (it is more wavy) and I flat ironed it before I went in. I washed it last night and it blow-dried pretty straight, as well. It curls great with the curling iron. They have a promotion where 8 oz. of the 14" Super Remi Kinky Smooth is $120. I got the 16" for $136 (or something like that). I have pictures of both in my album. My hair got relaxed this time after a 13 week stretch. I can leave the interlocking in for 12 weeks or so, but I go in at the 4 week mark and 8 week mark so that she can tighten it and give me a wash and set. After the 12 weeks I will either get it relaxed and interlocked again or get a sew-in to stretch the relaxer more.

I don't really have a "regimen". I just wash and condition my hair, limit heat use to once a week, and moisturize BIGTIME. I trim by ends whenever they look rough because it does not blend in with the extensions otherwise. I clarify once a week with Kenra Clarifying shampoo because I use LIV cream and grease almost every day and I keep my hair in weaves for protection. Even with the Interlocking technique, my hair is less exposed than without it. Sunday when I got my hair done, my hair dresser commented on how thick and nice my hair had grown. I was happy about that. Weave really do help.

I don't follow a lot of the advice from the board. I DO use grease and lots of it, If they work well for me, I DO use products with mineral oil, I DO clarify often, I DO flatiron my roots during a stretch. My hair is growing very well and I am happy at how healthy it is.

Now with a regular sew in, I wore my hair down more often because it is all corn rowed underneath. With the Interlocking technique, more of my hair is out, including the very back that hangs on my neck and shoulders. Because of this, I try to wear it up if possible or pin just the very back of my hair up underneath with a bobby pin to protect my ends. The Kinky Smooth does not need any product, as a matter of fact, it is better w/o it. I have to be careful when applying product to my own hair so that I don't get much on the weaved part. On the weekend, I wear it down if I go out.

I agree with you. I was watching the Bernie Mac Show yesterday and I was amaze by her body. It is tight! She is in excellent shape!
