I brought some a week ago, and notice it is thick and kinda sticky are you mixing it with something? right now I use it to seal my ends, and around my hairline, I was thinking about mixing it with my olive oil, and ideas,

I just got mine in the mail yesterday, and yes, it is a lot thicker than I expected. I just dabbed a bit on my finger, used the tail end of a rat tail comb to part my hair and rubbed into my scalp. A little goes a LONG way. It made my hair and new growth exceptionally strong and soft. I noticed this while I was fingering through my braid out this morning. I thought it would leave my hair heavy and oily, but it did jus the opposite. I used coconut oil on my ends. These two products will definitely be staples in my regimen.:)

HTH:D

I mix mine with all of my conditioners, oils and moisturizers, that way I can use it regularly without dealing with the sticky.

msbrown76, I like that idea, good way to kick them all up a notch, Choklatekiss79, thank you for responding, looking forward to getting some good results, :)

I do not mix mine with anything...I put it on my hairline and on my scalp. I also put about a quarter size in my palm and rub it on my hair to keep it moisturized.

same here! my came in the mail a couple of days ago and I used it around my hairline on clean wet hair... tied it down with a scarf and it laid down nicely today while wearing my twist/braid out. I was also wondering if I needed to add something to it. I like it so far the way it is...so I might not add anything to it at all!

I mix mine in with my homemade moisturising spray and I simply love it. I took a strand of hair and pulled it and it was sooooo moisturised and I did not see any splits. Does this stuff seal split ends. I also put some on my ends at night after I plait my hair into 4 plaits. I really love this stuff.

i dont know about black castor but i have castor oil and it is kind of thick and sticky. i'm new to using castor oil. i heated it up a little and that made it less thick.:look:

I ordered my on Wednesday and got yesterday!!!!:D I love this stuff!!!! I used it last night. I flat ironed last night and put a capful in my hair . I tied it up and this morning it was so soft and shiney.:p

I can't deal w/the day to day use of castor oil. I think it's too heavy for my fine 4a/b hair. I put it in my conditioner which I deep condition with. My hair is much softer and less tangled. It is a keeper.

I use regular castor oil in an applicator bottle to oil my scalp. It makes my hair feel so soft and shiny. I may give the black castor oil a try but really is it worth the hassle of ordering online.

I use mine after I wash and condition my hair. I put a quarter size of it on my hair after I dry it off with a towel. It usually last about a week. I can't see myself using anything else.

When I scoop out any of my conditioners, I mix them with the JBCO in my hand before applying and I do the same when I apply my moisturizers. Occasionally I'll apply it straight to my scalp/hairline but rarely.

I use it for almost everything. I seal with it, I add it to my conditioners, and I use it as a hot oil treatment. It's just great. :)

I use black castor oil as a pre poo treatment on dry, dirty hair! I mix it with olive oil and a few drops of essential oil. Then I braid my hair in loose braids and cover with a shower cap. I leave it on any where from 30 minutes to overnight. The result is silky soft, shiny hair. I didn't notice the softness with the clear castor oil, only with the BJCO.
