Last year, I started a thread asking what everyone's New Year Hair Resolutions were.
(hopefully you can see the thread below)

Just wondering who managed to acheive their goals, stop the pj'ism/trimming/coloring... whatever it is you wanted to do this year?
I was supposed to become a DIY'er, but
I'm still going to the salon every 2 weeks.

That last one is hard, hard, HARD on this board here!
For me it was to gain full confidence in taking care of my own tresses after removing my weave (that I wore for two years literally non-stop. Hair came down and went up THAT DAY. Luckily my hair still thrived). I wanted independence from my stylist, accomplished to the point where I'm totally DIY with everything including relaxers which was unexpected! My final goal was to reach APL by Dec, which I would have done already had it not been for two trims from my stylist.... You know how that goes. But I am proud to say that I am about 95% sure that I will be there or no more than 1 inch from there by the end of the year. I'm very much on track!
Kudos!!!

, but I did gain more thickness, so I'm happy. Plus, I am on track to reach waistlength by December 2008.

. You people and your wonderful reviews of joico and redken and stuff like that
