Hi sisters,

I have been wearing coils for the past two months since my semi bc on November 26, 2009. What do you guys think? Are there any other low manipulation styles I can rock with my length. I plan on doing a fro hawk this weekend. I recoil every weekend and just leave it alone for the entire week other that moisturizing with shea butter. Should I be doing anything else? I deep condition weekly. I have noticed a great improvement in my moisture balance but I like to hear from you guys. Any thoughts?

Nice! It suits you. Seems like a great low-manipulation style. To jazz it up you could put a flower hairpin by one of your ears, or add a side parting to your current style if you can. I didn't BC that short, so I can't really help with more styles but, looks like you're off to a good start.

I don't have any suggestions at this time.. but I lovvvvvveee your hair.

The coils are very pretty and so are you.

I can't wait to bc... but I'm holding on right now!

I just thanked you guys in this thread. I was in a mean people thread and I'm still hugging myself and rocking and they weren't even talking about 'real' people, just celebrities.

Anywho, your coils are sweet. What do you use to twist?

Your coils are cute! Nice and soft looking! :yep:

If this style has been working for you for the past 2 months, you should stick with it. Sounds like low manipulation to me by recoiling once a week. You may want to try two strand twists or a twistout if you get bored with the style.

Well, continue to have fun with your natural hair!

Your hair is fantastic! I love the coils, you are working them like a pro. At your length I think twist outs would look really good too.

I agree with everyone else. Your hair looks absolutely gorgeous the way it is. How long did you transition? I hope my hair looks just as lush when I finally BC!

Wow, those look sooo cute on you. I think you should stick with this and jazz it up with accessories like someone else suggested. In fact, I will be trying this style this weekend! I like my twists and all but I think the coils would look better after a whole week.

Your hair IS very pretty and the coils are to die for! Keep doing you ma, I also think you can easily rock two strand twist w/o a problem.

Thanks sis,

I am sure your hair will be GAW-JUS!!!!I transitioned for about 10 months before I got tired of dealing with the two textures... I LOVE IT!!!
