i'm trying to decide on buying a (cheap) set of hot rollers. anyone have good or bad experience with them? do they work??? if so, do they work pretty well? i have type 3b/c~ish hair. i plan to use them on blow dried hair to try to straighten it and get some waves into it. ultimately, my goal is to lesson heat use and manipulation. (i'm thinking it'd be on step less than blow-dry, flat-iron, curl.) it might not make sense. i'm not sure...:ohwell:

but please post your hot roller/hot curler experiences - it'll help me make a decision. if anyone has pictures....even better!!!

I have the Conair Infiniti Tourmaline Ceramic Flocked Rollers. They heat up well, make a good curl and leave my hair shiny and smooth. The clips are a little awkward but once you get used to them they are alright.

I find that the hot rollers are a good alternative to using a flat iron or curling iron.
