With winter not too far away, I'm getting ready to start incorporating weekly hot oil treatments. For those of you who do weekly hot oil treatments, what type of oils do you use?

I'm thinking about going back to using Wild Growth Oil because it makes my hair so soft to the touch; however, I don't want to be limited to that. I love coconut oil but it makes my hair feel hard during the colder months.

Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks ladies!

I use olive oil because I cook with it and I can buy a lot for little $. It works great.

Oh Yeah....HOTS Are Going to Be The Thing this Winter. At Least, For Me.:look:

Because I had purchased alot of "Oils" but they were Just sitting and I was wondering what I could do with them, to use them Up.

Here's a Thread from Earlier in the Week About HOTS (Hot Oil Treatments). It May Give You Some Good Ideas.:yep:

I'll be getting back to them this fall. My scalp loves hot oil treatments.

It's funny that you mentioned WGHO. I put this on last night. Girl my hair AND scalp just sighed relief.

Thanks ladies. Yes, there is something about WGO that makes my hair happy too. I will definitely be using this one.:yep:

Yes hot oil treatments are going to be a staple in my routine this winter. I'll use my Alfaparf essential oils alternated with my regular oils; jojoba, evoo, peppermint and coconut.
