Horsetail Oil

Have anyone on this board every used horsetail oil on their hair. I have heard it is great for hairloss. If anyone does, can you tell me how is it for you? Because I have wrapped my hair so much one direction for years (I never found out, this can leave you a little bald on one side) I was thinking to use this oil, and massage that side every night, so it could look as full as the other side. But I don't want to use it unless I hair something about it first. The side of my hair doesn't look bad at all, it's just that it doesn't level out with the other side.

Any information would help!

Do you mean using a horsetail extract added to a carrier oil of choice? If so, it's an excellent idea. You might do a combo of horsetail and coltsfoot. The carrier oil is up to you.

I've never used the horsetail this way...only in an herbal rinse which you might try yourself because it does encourage plenty of growth.

I would definitely recommend that you try it!

CICI: I heard about this oil on the radio (or was it on TV?)...Anyway, I also got information on it from www.nappturality.com. I heard that it can grow hair in spots that you have lost hair from. I have heard a lot of good things about it, but I don't think many people have tried it.

I made the herbal rinse myself. It's incredibly simple to make and you can just freeze any extra for later use.

If you want, I will give you a really simple recipe.
