Ok....This may take awhile, so if you have better things to do, by all means do skip this post.
I have a problem right now. In fact 3 different types of problems in the hair types 1,2,and 3 categories. I started out wanting to get a relaxer right? But it got underprocessed (several times) so now I was like, "I'm gonna try this on more time" but then I let my hair airdry one day and decided that I liked these little curls I had and that it would be more practical to not try to relax my hair all the way because I've always liked curly hair and it's closer to my natural 4a/4b texture and that just makes me feel better. Plus I can get straighter hair if I set it right. So...now I have 3c curls, but they are a little too small and poofy for my liking. My hair looks just about like the girl on this page:http://www.curls.biz/

I would LOVE to have curls like the girl in the 3a's category at this link
this:http://www.longhaircareforum.com/hairtype.php

That is my DREAM FANTASY hair. Now here's my problem:
Can I acheive those results (I'm not looking for perfection, just looser curls than what I have basically) with another texturizer (for about 5 minutes) to loosen the curls I have or do I run the risk of overprocessing and turning out with a complete relaxer? Should I give this a try because I really really want to. This is one problem.

Next one: I discovered yesterday that the front of my hair and the part closest to my head on the sides in bone straight! Bone as in it dries straight (maybe a little frizzy, but straight none the less)even if I don't do anything to it. AH! I never meant for that to happen because even back when I wanted a relaxer, I wasn't going for bone straight. So I'm left with curls at most part of my head and straight hair in the front and sides. Now if I wanted to let my hair dry and wear it curly, do you think I should just roll those parts on spiral rollers and then eventually cut it over time as it grows out? Would that be the best solution.

A lot of questions I know and maybe a little confusion. If anyone can help me with any of these problems, I'll get on my knees and kiss there feet. Please ask any questions you want because somewhere in here, I know I wasn't clear. Please help me:(

I really don't know what to do.

Wow. Well if you have 4a/b hair, then the only part that would have loose curls are the 4a parts. The 4b parts will not curl, they will only get straight. If you leave a texturizer on long enough, I think it will almost if not completely straighten your hair.

Ok, in that case my hair is ALL 4a. I'm greatful to you for finally helping me figure this out. My hair is now in little curls all over my head (except the straight part) so I'm guessing that since I do have a definite curl pattern, then it can be loosened further?

I would be really careful, you might leave the relaxer on too long and straighten your hair to the point of waves. If your curls are tightly curled, I only think they can get so big.

That may be true. Like I said, my curls are just about exaclty like the girl in the first link I posted. I guess a strand test (or maybe several) would be the best move for me right now. Does anyone have any more suggesions or info on what to do about the straight part of my hair?
