What are your recommendations for a "healthy" spritz that imparts sheen and gives body?

It's humid as heck in ATL. I haven't been able to hold a curl or body since getting my hair relaxed last week after a six-month stretch. :perplexed

My stylist finished my hair with a spritz but I didn't ask what kind it was at the time, believing that they're not healthy.

I co-wash every other day, pre-poo/wash/DC weekly. I flat iron only once per wash, so I would be washing the product out before reusing.

I have jaw-length hair and it's really fine textured.

Thanks in advance.

It's a layered short bob.

It seems to have no body or hold. Maybe it's something I'm doing wrong with my technique.

Oh, I see.

:perplexed I was trying to wrack my brain to think of my old hairdresser used to spritz my hair with, it helped the wrap hold, and it was still bouncy, but it's not coming to me, sorry.

I'm sure someone who knows will chime in soon.:yep:

I use kenra's spray. Its not really a spritz but more of a hairspray.Deep brilliance makes one also.

Thanks! I'm gonna get something today, preferably something natural and alcohol-free (or alcohol being further down the ingredient list).

mizani anti humidity or something like that is really great. my hair dresser uses it in my hair when its hot or if i'm going to a club. i'm not sure if that is the exact name but i know it has humidity in the name. they also make an oil sheen but this is not.

Giovanni has a holding spritz. If I am not mistaken, it has NO alcohol. I bought it a few weeks ago, but have since went to wearing braids so I never go the chance to try it out. I purchased it at Target.

I will go get the bottle and edit this post if I need to.

ETA-- It's called L.A. Hold, uh oh it does have denatured alcohol, but it is waaaay down on the list. It has a lot of other excellent ingredients first.

Ingredients: Aqua (Purified Water) with Rosemary (Rosmarinus Officinalis) Oil, Nettle (Urtica Dioica) Oil, Thyme (Thymus Vulgaris) Oil, Birch Leaf (Butela Alba) Oil, Chamomile (Anthemis Nobilis Flower) Oil, Clary (Salvia Sclarea), Lavender (Lavandula Angustifolia), Coltsfoot Leaf (Tussilago Farfara), Yarrow (Achillea Millefolium) Oil, Mallow(Malva Sylvestris), Horsetail (Equistetum Arvense) Oil, PVP/VA Copolymer, Soybean Protein (Glycine Soja), Alcohol Denatured (plant derived), Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Trace Minerals, Citric Acid (corn), Grapefruit Seed (citrus derived), Fragrance with Essential Oils. *Certified Organic by Guaranteed Certification Services.

I was sooo about to ask the same thing. I can't hold a style to save my life right now. I'm heading to the BSS right now :yep:

OK...that Giovanni LA Hold sure sounds like the business right now!
I also am considering Aveda Brillant spritz, too!

Alcohol way down on the list? Hey, that's hot!:yep:
