I was just reading an old review on the Amla and Olive Heavy Cream and the blogger talked about how the company is shrouded in mystery regarding its background and who is running it. I've noticed that trend regarding quite a few haircare lines. Why is that? Do you think as customers we are entitled to know? Is there a way to find out whose running this line?

Unless the ownership changed we know who it is, I just don't personally remember.

I've noticed that trend regarding quite a few haircare lines.

Which ones have you noticed? I know of all the owners for the hair products I use.

maybe she likes her privacy or she wants her products to be the focus of her brand not her name/face.

I can understand that. It confuses me why people think that just because people do/put something out on a mass scale that is equivalent to wanting their privacy to be invaded. Some people really just want to give the world something great and still be able to shop at the grocery store without being harassed.
(OP this is not a response to your original post it is just an issue I feel strongly on)

a lot of the owners from these haircare sites used to be members here. IDK how long you've been an active member of this board OP, but a lot of us remember these people when they started. The owner of qhemet used to post on here and announce her sales, codes, etc. I remember when qhemet opened. I think as time went on they just sat back and focused on their business now that their name and popularity is out there now. The same for SheScentit. The owner used to put her face out there a lot. Now not so much. But they definitely don't owe us that face time
