I just started using this products and I like the results. Its about $3 at Eckerd and its a pretty good amount in there. Has anyone else used this kind or heard of it? If not what kind of protien treatment do you use?

I like Hi-Pro Pac, too. It's a great drugstore product.

I LLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOVEEE Hi Pro Pac. Of all the conditioners I have sampled this is the only one that is a must for me. They have an after relaxer one that replaces lost emollients depleted by perming and removes chemical residues and detangles. http://www.folicapro.com/hair/hipropacc.htm

Its expensive on the website. How long have you been using it? Do you use it as a protein treament b/c it is made up of alot of protein?

I am currently using Joico K-Pak but when that runs out maybe I can give the Hi-Pro Pac a try. I got my K-pak at a bargain it was marked down to $2.18 per bottle at an Eckerds.

I was asking because some protein treatments are stronger than others.

I do not know how strong this one is but I do follow the directions carefully when they say to leave it on for 5 minutes. I think it is preert strong because the second ingredient is hydrolyzed protein.

I was just using that site for the picture. I buy it at the BSS. I use it 2 or 3 times a month with heat.

This is an excellent product. I've been using this for years. It is a great strengthner and detanlgler for me.

Great. It strengthens without making my hair hard. And it makes my hair soft and easy to comb.

I just bought some, it says for Damaged Hair Color Treated Formula. Now why did it cost $5.59? Oh well.

For those who use and like this conditioner.....is it necessary to use moisturizing conitioner afterwards? Or would you recommend using a moisturizing conditioner?

Thanks!!

I use a moisturizing conditioner afterwards. Hi Pro Pac doesn't make my hair feel hard, though. I follow up w/ a moisturizing conditoner because I don't know what kind of protein is in the conditioner. The label just lists "hydrolyzed protein" as the 2nd ingredient. I assume it's animal protein or collagen because the product is so cheap... I called the # on the bottle (800-327-3323) and someone was supposed to call me back. They never did. I called again and there was no answer. Maybe they have caller ID.

BTW--the Folica price is high! I pay $4.59 for 12 oz.
