Hi and Thank you

Hi all, firstly I just would like to say I have lurking on this forum for about 9 months now and have now plucked up the courage to finally post. I want to say thank you, you guys have been great and very helpful. I didn’t really have a clue about looking after my hair until I found this site. My Hair has been stuck at ear length for about a year and I started to wonder why doesn’t my hair grow? How come all my friends can cut their hair and still grow past mine, then I started to research and found this site. I am now learning how to take better care of my hair thanks to you guys, but I have still got a lot more to learn. Since I have started taking more notice of my hair and I have seen a bit of a difference, it is slightly thicker and it is a little pass my ear, but I still feel my hair grows very slow.

You know honey, I'm with you. My hair has always been stuck at neck length all my life and no matter what I did it wouldn't grow. My mother would just tell me (since she has APL thick hair) that I have it like my father's side of the family . They all have short hair and keep it that way. I believed it until I came to this site and I have been changing my views big time. I am probably running the risk of becoming a PJ but hey, if my hair grows even to my shoulders thick and healthy then I know I'm on the right track and its worth it!!!! Let me know if you want a hair journey buddy so we can help each other

Yeah that'll be good, we could give each other inspiration. I truly use to believe that certain peoples hair couldn't grow past a certain length, well that what i was told, but i was like, how does that make sense , i always get regrowth and need to get a touch up. I found this site and realised about retention.

Kyree!! There is so much knowlege on this board that it will make your head spin! I was stuck between ear and shoulder length for most of my life, if not all of it. Once I joined LHCF I learned a lot of tips and trips and now I'm making progress and you will too. HHG!
