I think it would be ok. I know a lot of ladies use rinse out conditioners as a leave-in. I've done it w/no problem.

Wal-Mart has LTR leave-in though.

I have been doing this. Even though I found the HE Ltr leave in I used it up in about a week and when I went back Walmart was out of it. I also just got the Hello Hydration and have been using it as a leave in too. My puff is curly and shiny and smells divine.

I could never find the leave in at CVS ... only Target or Wal-Mart. You may want to try those.

But to answer your original question: yes you could use the conditioner as a leave in.

I found the LTR leave-in at Kroger. You may want to try there, too.

I think you should be fine if you use the conditioner as a leave-in. I did this with a Pantene conditioner mixed with water in a spray bottle. It made my hair too soft at first, so I added more water and it was fine.
