Hey there Hair Divas!

Newbie checking in

I've been "exploring" (read:stalking) the forum for a few years and finally decided to come out of hiding. Just a quick bit about the journey thus far....

...I mean, my hair stylist was great and all but she was...slow...to say the least. And...I'm kinda impatient so the situation wasn't really the biz-naz. After waiting in her chair for over FIVE HOURS for one stinkin' blow n' curl, I finally mustered up the courage to take things into my own hands. Thank God I stumbled across this AMAZING site circa 2007. In these 3-ish years, I've learned SO much from so many of you ladies . I've managed to grow out a head full of hawt but damaging blonde highlights, a not-so-hawt relaxer and finally transition to my newest love affair: Keratin!

Anywho, my final goal is to reach healthy, shiny, swagin' WL (I'm only 5'2" on a good day, so we shall see how that actually goes). Just wanted to say how excited I am to have some hair-sisters on this pilgrimage to beautiful hairs

Welcome! I don't miss the 5 hours at the shop to get my hair done either. Except for braiding, but that's more bearable.
