there's only one picture, but more to come in the future

this is a pic of my hair straightened out after five months of no direct heat.

1) i used ghee (clarified butter) as a pre-poo treatment for about 30 minutes.

2) then i washed with aubrey organics white camellia shampoo diluted with water.

3) next i conditioned for about 30 minutes with a mixture of aubrey organics white camellia conditioner, aubrey organics gpb conditioner, and a little bit of okra & carrot infused castor oil

4) then i gave my hair a quick rinse and then poured my hair rinse over my head twice ( i caught the run-off in a bowl)

my hair rinse is 4 cups of distilled water infused with sage, rosemary, jasmine, marshmallow root, burdock root, nettle, hibiscus petals, and around 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

then i used straight to the max heat protectant and humidity blocker

5) then i used my new andis hand held blow dryer to semi-straighten and dry my hair

6) finally i straightened with my maxiglide using jojoba oil for the pressing oil

i know it seems like a lot, but the results are worth it!
my hair is now 25 inches long. yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i didn't clip my ends on the pic

hopefully i will be at waist length in another two years or less.

Your hair looks so shiny and black and straight! I love it. That maxiglide is great! Now, if only I weren't too scared to use the one I bought months ago. :ohwell:

wow i luv you hair- it looks straight but still thick and strong!
