Is anyone using sulfur for hair growth in 2023? I have some tucked away. I’d love to know your results/thoughts.

I've JUST picked sulfur back up. I stopped using it when I started dating YEARS ago, :look:.
Instead of using the powder straight in my oil mix, I make an infused sulfur oil and add that to my scalp mix. The smell was a huge deterrent for me when I stopped bc it was hard to disguise. I remember that I mixed it w Megatek, which does a good job of masking the smell. I've also mixed my sulfur oil with my Bhringaraj/Amla infused oil for a scalp oil in the past. So last week I just started re-using the MT/Ayurveda/sulfur mix and threw in some cayenne oil and peppermint oil for scalp stimulation. Too early to say if it's doing much. To be honest, I'm not sure if it was sulfur that contributed to growth for me in the past bc I've mostly used it mixed w MT, which actually works for me.

I've been thinking of trying the sulfur for my skin though. I've seen on the board where it does great things for skin! And if all else fails, I'll just use it up in my garden.

I don’t know much about Megatek. I’ll definitely have to do some research on it. I’ll be making some rosemary, sulfur/cayenne oil this weekend and see how it works.
There was also a recipe that I saw here and it had a bunch of oils and it was effective according to those who posted about their experiences. I’ll have to scroll back and see if I can find it in my history.

i should also add that my sulfur was purchased in late 2021. I wonder if it’s still good.

I ordered some sulfur powder a couple months ago to start adding to my scalp oil mixes. I’ve used it in the past mixed with various other things. I don’t like the smell so I’ll just try to mask it as best I can.

I believe sulfur powder has a shelf life of a few years after manufacturing date. It probably doesn’t go bad but maybe won’t be as potent.

I will use it. And I didn’t think about the potency of it. I’ll still start slow with it. And see if it makes my hair do what it do!!
