I am going to the Bahamas this weekend with friends as an early birthday treat! I relax my hair - so I don't get "curls when It dries naturally - I don't know how - I have always brought ponytail pieces and pull my hair back, and that is a pain in the A$$, because my hair is thick and it feels "lumpy to me, making me uncomfortable. So I really want a stress free weekend - what can I use in my hair to give me that look, and also a strong "something" that if I wear my hair it will stay back - my hair is 3 inches past bra strap.
I need something for thick coarse dry hair
Thank a mil guys!

Check out the how tos thread for encouraging curls on relaxed hair....

I didn't think mine dried curly either until I got my hands on the right products and figured out the formula...

India08,
I hear alot of ladies raving about John Freida Dream Curls. I actually plan on going away soon but i have decided to flat twist my hair and keep it out of the way.

Maybe you could do braidouts? If your dries overnight, that might work for you. Even if it's still a little damp in the morning, it could still work. Leave the last inch unbraided and roll with perm rods.

Yay! I'm from there- have a great time! By the way, which island are you visiting?
Anyway, I agree with some suggestions here. But I'll add:
If you can do it properly, I would say do a straw-set. Usually best if you wash/condition your hair first, then use setting lotion/leave-in whatever you use...set it in the straws, and let it dry overnight...
