Which do you think yields better results for hair that has movement.......a liquid leave in or a creamy leave in?

Okay this is going to sound so crazy....IA in thinking liquid would be lighter, but tend to obsess about the creamy leave in being more "protective" cause it's creamy/heavier....I could share that thought with no on IRL:lachen:

Liquid. Just make sure to deep condition well beforehand, and don't use too much just because it's a liquid and doesnt seem like it's doing anything.

I use a creamy leave in and serum. I always have movement and swang (yes, SWANG). :yep: You just can't be heavy handed with it.

I like to mix both
right now I am using AvonIntense Repair treatment its' more like a thick liquid and IC Fanstasia Olive oil serum together. I really like the Fantasia. My gives a lot movement.

SS: Thank You Sooo for Starting this Thread.

I have been wondering for weeks now how to get a Baby Swang?:lachen:

I am a Huge Fan of Creamy Leave-Ins and I fear that I consistently use entirely too much product.:perplexed

I was also pondering switching over to a Spray Leave-In.:look:

But I think I will use a small (dime) size amount this week and see if my results are better.:yep:

Thanks so much for your responses ladies, It sounds like i definitely could lighten up on the creamy leave in, that might be part of the problem is that I use too much.

i used a liquid one, Doo Gro brand, which I really liked, but now I use Giovanni before blow dry and it still is great. The trick is to use just the right amount

I use a creamy one, Neutrogena or Paul Mitchell. What I do now is put a small amount, rub it in my hands, rinse off one hand with water, rub my hands again, and then put it on my hair. I'm SO HEAVY handed, that's the only way I can taper myself. That plus my chi-silk infusion and I'm good to go.

Okay.:look: I used a Creamy-Liquid (Fermodyl 619) and a tiny Dab of FHI Hotsauce (creamy) and I think that was exactly the problem.

I was using waaaaayyyy too much product! Thanks Ladies.

I tried this before and my hair became crunchy after awhile. Maybe I used too much. :scratchch

i use both and i always have swang and lots of body. i am heavy handed, but that doesn't seem to be a problem. i use either lacio lacio leave in or CRN and always follow with infusium 23 and a little evco and john freida serum or chi- very lightly with the serums. i don't like greasy/ oily weighted down hair either and this works fine with no problem. if i flat iron i use MNT heat protectant because it's thin & light. recently i tried john frieda's thermal protectant and i notice it is heavier or a little oilier, but i like it still. HTH!

I either use moroccanoil hydrating cream or chi keratin mist and add chi silk infusion to either one. I try to use a little bit of all of them though. And i get swing even with my neck length hair.

I don't like creme for my hair, I use Redken Anti Snapp, Aphogee Leave In, or Infusium 23 leave in, I have a bottle of Neutrogena that doesn't get much use, only when I pony tail.
