Has anyone used any of these powders? If so, what were your results? TIAhttp://www.mehndiskinart.com/amla_powder.htm

I've used neem and amla powder that I purchased at an indian market. Amla is very moisturizing on the hair. I've used both amla and neem on my skin as well. I like both.

I've used the Hesh Amla powder ($1.99 local) and I LOVE it:D My hair feels thick and conditioned and I also mix it with my henna for extra conditioning.

I also mixed the Amla with my Henna with good results. However, I know you can find it locally in Atlanta. If you are not buying bulk, then I wuld not use Mehndiskinart.

I tried Amla powder today for the first time! I used it on my face and hair! I used it like a mask on my face and my face is REALLY smooth. It also made my eyebrows darker and the hairs seem thicker...

For now, all I can tell for my hair is that it really made my NG pop. It also gave me easiest detangling session ever. I'm starting to fall in love more and more with non-American products. First Brazilian, Now Indian. Don't know if I'll ever look at Pantene, ORS or Tresemme ever again!

Yup. I do oil infusions with them (Amla and Brahmi). I stopped buying online though because on Amazon they're $3.98 and at my local Indian grocer they're $1.99.

Well I just mixed the Amla Powder in a bowl with water. It had a paste like consistency.

For my face. I just put the paste on like a face mask and washed it off with water and a wash cloth.

I put it in my damp hair and put a cap over it and let it stay on for about 45 minutes. I then rinsed it out and co-washed with Skala G3. I put Baby Lotion in my hair as a moisturizer and sealed with Coconut Oil.

My hair is lovin it right now!
