Good Afternoon,
I have an announcement. I officially don't care. My gibbadamn has been busted.
I realized this this morning as I pulled my hair into a messy lopsided puff as I set out for my morning walk and dared somebody to say something.
Right now, my hair looks like Toni Morrison and Frederick Douglas are fighting for scalp supremacy. Fred is winning; 3/4 of my hair looks like his. The remaining 1/4 are nearly 3 month old twists/ wannabe locks that I've been slowly taking down over the past few weeks. It will probably be 2 more weeks before they are taken down. I've even discussed the possibility of cutting my hair to dh. I'm just so over it. I'm trying not to do anything rash, but my hair is getting on my last nerve. These days, I manage to moisturize it just enough to keep it from snapping off in my hands.
Lately, having to do anything to it makes me want to run for the hills. Tragic, since I live in a state with nary a hill to be found.
How can I get my hair groove back? I'm thinking it may mean not being a DIYer for awhile.
