Herbal Essences LTR leave in Users

since the formula change what have you been using? i cant stand the smell of this new stuff!

I haven't seen an new formula. I still have old bottles I haven't used because I don't like the build up I causes in my hair. What does it smell like?

Theresamonet it smells like cinnamon. The LTR condish smell (as far as I know) has always smelled like cinnamon but just recently they changed the leave-in to smell like the condish.

I still use it and I don't care for the smell either (not that it stinks but it has a lighter scent--not rasberry or whatever berry smell it had--and I don't know how to describe it, but it has an almost rancid smell to it. The berry scent it had was strong, but I got used to it. Anyway, I use it in my homemade moist. spray right after I wash, it has distilled water, aloe juice, essential oils, and I add 2-5 or pumps of the new herbal essence ltr leave-in. And because I don't like the new formula (the way I did the original), it made me scale back my usage when laying my edges down(with the LTR straight out of the bottle), and that has helped the build-up issues go away. But I do wash weekly. Oh, and I also use nu expressions trio leave in and/or kenra mango butter moisturizer.

yes it smelled ok in the bottle but after leaving it to dry it my hair it smelled rancid

Yes. And btw @Napp I forgot you're no longer natural. Did you texlax? That nu expressions trio by bronner bro. might work well, its for natural and relaxed hair. It smells good too.

I still have a couple of bottles of the old Long Term Relationship leave-in formula.

I've been using my own mix lately, Aussie moist mixed with jojoba, castor oil and aloe vera juice.

yyeah im currently texlaxed. the product looks good but the price (im cheap)
