What's the difference? Does one condition the hair better than the other?

I think that the main difference is the amount of henna you use. In a gloss, you might only use a couple of spoonfuls, where are for a henna treatment, you might use 1/4 cup.
I add a LOT of conditioner (a little more conditioner than henna) to my mixes, which makes it very conditioning for me.
I think maybe if you want just the conditioning, you would use a gloss, but if you wanted some color, you would use a henna? Dunno.

Yeah, I want the conditioning...trying to gain some strength to my hair...buuuut I want indigo.
membur me saying I had a bad dye experience in 99 or so...so I want to try to get "Hawaiian Blue Black" from Indigo.

I'll admit, sometimes I get confused when I'm online. I believe all want to help, but there are always a few folks that seem to gravitate towards your post and respond quickly and you call them friends - so I appreciate your quick responses.
I told my sis about a few folks on here (and my Monk forum..yeah I'm geekie) and I made the mistake of saying "my friends on LHCF are so nice and helpful"...she said to me, and she used my first name and not my play name so I knew she was serious..., " It~Can~Grow, you haven't given these people your home address have you?"
I almost didn't answer her "I said I like Monk so I 'chat w/others who like Monk' - I like hair and want to grow hair so I 'chat w/others who want the same."
Yes, maybe friend was a stretch, but NO I haven't given anyone my credit card or home address. Then I remembered that I actually did give my credit card (not really just banking info) out when I purchased the Pibbs, but I gave HER address for them to deliver it...
