I am a Henna virgin.

Can someone please tell me where I can purchase henna online and how to apply it to change the color of my hair to auburn/red/burgundy?

My natural hair color is brown.

Thanks in advance!

- you can purchase henna online or at your local Indian grocery store
- mix with hot water, let sit for 12 hours, add anything else you like - yogurt, condish, oils, tea, coffee, etc...
- apply like you're applying a really bad relaxer, from root to tips
- cover for at least 3 hours or sit under a dryer for 45min to an 1 hour
- rinse, rinse, rinse & deep condition

you hair will change to a nice red color and even more with more applications

For a beautiful burgundy color use: grape juice, beet juice (canned will do), or merlot wine for the liquid/acid portion of your recipe.
