henna users, i have a ?

i was wondering if i could cassia and then indigo or does it have to be henna then indigo
when i henna i use it strictly for the condioning purpose not for the red, i then follow up with indigo for the dark color

Has to be henna. You need the red to offset the blue-green in indigo.

ETA: But you don't have to henna before every indigo... just one every 3 or 4 will do.
