Henna Question!

I'm confused. I was looking at Sareca's FAQs for my henna mix. Do I mix the henna powder with

A.just ACV or with
B. H2O with two tablespoons

Just ACV really dried my hair out. You may want to err on the side of caution and start out with a teaspoon or 2 of ACV and the rest water. You really don't need a lot to get dye release.

I've never used just ACV, lemon juice, etc... as my liquid w/ henna. I use mostly water and add a small amount of a terp (or none at all, if my goal is to condition my hair).

When I do mine, I use like 1 and a half cups of ACV and the rest water. erplexed

You only need a small amount of ACV. Actually, I have found that you don't need any at all. But it's best to do a strand test to see how it turns out on your hair. I don't use ACV or lemon juice because I don't want to dry out my hair. Some people have no problems with it, though. I did my first henna today and used mostly henna and hot water with a little less than one teaspoon of pectin and a bit of conditioner.
