Perfectly Posh...
Okay hair divas,

I have been researching BAQ henna/indigo for the past few days. I am interested in it's benefits for hair, not just color. I have even found some ways to mix it. I am relaxed. This is what I need to know...

What is the best for relaxed hair?

How many uses can you get with a box?

What is a good site for purchase (I don't want to spend an arm and leg on this stuff, but I do know that quality is key!)?

TIA

Jamila amazon.com

Its 7.00 or so with low shipping... I use curlynikki's henna mix (better yet read ALL of her henna posts :)) and It works great on me and my relaxed sister.... HTH just use a good moisturizing conditioner... I'm in Looovveee with me some henna!!!

I buy my Jamila at a local Indian grocer for $1.99 for 100g. I believe I read some where that 100g will cover 5" of hair. I am using 300g on Friday for my thick APL and will just freeze any left overs.

I need to do this again...esp if it can help with thickness

While transitioning (I was mostly relaxed), I used BAQ Jamila heanna (in foil package), purchased from Mehandi.com. I used approx. 3 boxes for a full henna and 1 for henna gloss. I stopped using henna because, my already thick hair, was becoming toooooo thick.

Henna strengthens, thickens and can loosen curl.
