Go to the grocery store and get some coconut milk in the can... usually its in the ethnic section. I know the brand thai kitchen makes it. I would even suggest making a avocado and olive oil mix and putting it in your hair.

This just happened to me the other week! I oil rinsed, and deep conditoned with a mix of Profective, Jojoba oil, peppermint oil, and evoo. My hair was instantly softer. The coconut oil is the bomb! I actually got mine from an e-bay store; I canno think of the name, but after shipping, it ends up being around $8 for 1.2 ounces. A good amount if you're not heavy-handed...

Wher do you buy your cocnut oil? do you moisturize with something else and then seal with coconut oil?

I found my coconut oil in the tiny little ethnic section of cvs where they have the castor oil, and other spanish items. I don't moisturize with anything else I just use the coconut oil...that's what works best with my hair. plus i noticed it curbed my dandruff too
