My friend has a very unique hair texture... She has big 3b/c curls and thick coarse individual strands but it's still very silky(she's black/Samoan)... Her main concerns are dryness and unruliness... But otherwise her hair retains length very well and doesn't have split ends or breakage at all(lucky!) because I have fine 3c hair the techniques I use don't work as well on her hair... So I need help formulating a good hair regimine to fight dryness but it also has to be very low maintenance... She recently started cowashing and wearing a satin bonnet at night

Any suggestions?

If those are pictures of her hair, doesn't look 3B/C to me. Looks more 4A. But nevertheless, can you post her reggie?

Tell her to try adding an oil to her favorite conditioner. Suave's Tropical Coconut conditioner+EVOO is soo friggin amazing on my hair. It made such a big difference in dryness for me. EVOO is a good oil to start with if she hasn't tried using oil before. I hear castor oil is great. A lot of ppl like EVCO too.

I think you should check for regimens for those with 4a. Generally speaking a wash and good DC once a week as well as a daily moisturising leave-in sealed with castor oil should do wonders.

Yep, telling more information on, what she knows about her hair, and what she does to it and how often will help. I can't tell on the type curl, not too good at that. But I think I can see some big curls, just frizzy like mine.Btw, which I 'think' mine are 4a, idk.
