having trouble with how i should be sleeping in my hair at night... still not quite used to my hair being this short so i'm at a loss for what to do...i used to sleep in two braids or a loose bun but that's obviously not an option now... i have just been sleeping in a satin bonnet... baggying sometimes with a plastic shower cap but i wake up with my hair matted to my head and it's causing more tangles than i can deal with:nono:

my nl hair is more trouble than when it was bsl! please help

When I was neck length I just braided my hair in a bunch of little braids... 8-10 and put a satin cap on my head. Good for waking up in the morning with a braidout.

@choconillaprincess, yes, @LadyRaider is right. Please check out this link below. While it really is talking about dry hair on page 2 I address how one should sleep with natural hair--particularly 4B hair. I did the same thing Ladyraider suggests when my hair was a little under 3 inches long. And then please do not ignore the baggy. It will make a world of difference! http://www.longhaircareforum.com/showthread.php?t=526649
