I've made it just over 5months of my transitimg journey but im having some slight jitters.

I'm on the 'Hide your hair til christmas challenge' and havn't really had a chance as of yet to deal with the jungle namely my new growth as im weaved up. When i do take down my weave i find it really hard to manage it and not sure whether i will be able to cope, as it is my mom who has to do all the detangling to wash and stuff.

Although i really really want natural hair i don't think i can deal with all the shrinkage. Currently i am shoulder length on my right side and about 1.5 inches above shoulder length elsewere - and it has taken me AGES and sooo much effort to get here. So i figured when i finally do go completly natural to get back to SL is going to be like climbing everest a thousand times over... and length is really what i crave .

I think over the possibilities and im contemplating continuing my weave spree after becoming natural until i gain enough length which will allow my hair to be easily bunched up into a ponytail.. which will have to be at least past shoulder length. The real problem is that im soo impatient. I really don't know what to do, im considering breaking "even" and texturising.

Im also starting to think that it is becoming more of a competition with myself, a challenge for example to see whether i can really do it.

I've just started transitioning myself and it is a process! lol. Patience & finding the right products for 'your' hair will be the key to making it through. Only detangle your hair when washing and with plenty of conditioner in it and use a Jilbere comb. Hang in there, you can do it if it's what you really want! :)
