Help needed from those who have travelled to Ghana (not hair related)

Does anyone know of a nice and reasonably priced hotel or hostel (as they say) located in Accra (Ghana), near Accra, or even in Tema. You assistance would be appreciated.

I put this here because of all of the areas on this site it is one of the most read and I was sure to get some help. of all the sites, I always come here first. If it isn't a traveller, then it's an agent but some one on here knows...lol Oh BTW, I will be there with friends an extended period so I will need nice, comfortable but reasonable rates. I love my LHCF connections!

I myself have never been to Ghana, but my brother and dad went about 10 years ago, and they stayed at a hotel in Accra called Wangara. I don't know if its still around, but from the pictures it was gorgeous (I think it was new at the time) and its like a 3 or 4 start hotel. HTH
