I've been baggying now for the last week & i have this itch that is killing me:ohwell:. Any suggestions on how to stop this during the baggying. As you can see i'm a newbie & in need of hair health so I don't want to give this up ( all the conditioning & moisturizing). I'm using Creme of Nature Nourishing Conditioner & Africa's Best Instant Oil Moisturizer with Shea Butter under the bag. Any suggestions are appreciated....Thanks!!

I would have the same problem if I used products on my hair during baggying (I usually bag with nothing on) because my scalp cannot stand products that aren't 100% natural - which is why the only thing I ever applied to my scalp was the Essential Oil Hair Growth Blend that I mixed myself. I could bag with that and not have itches. This is also the reason I'm anal about doing an ACV as the final step of my wash. My scalp has to be free of any residue product or I'd itch like crazy.

I baggy all the time and when I first started I use to itch, the only thing helped is cowashing, which also benefit me with the moisture gain so I baggy everynight but it always cowash the next day hth:)

I apply moisture to my hair then ends as I proceed to baggy but I realized that because I only moisturize the top layer of my hair: my scalp or hair beneath the top layer wasn't getting any moisture: so I make sure I moisture my whole end: include the area behind my ponytail ~HTH~
