Help!!!! Need an LHCF Buddy for motivation.

Hi,

I was wondering if there was anyone here who could help me get back on track. I will admit every since last year I have been slipping. If, there is anyone whom would like to help me or be a LHCF buddy to help me grow my hair. I was doing so well and now my hair is back to shedding, uneven and is just a mess. I believe the last time I permed was back in January and this may account for most of my breakage.

It is no where near as healthy as it was and I am planning to get back on the right track. This weekend I will be relaxing my hair with ORS as that relaxer worked really well on me and for the most part when I had my regimine going on it produced great results.

Right now, I just need some extra motivation because, when my hair really started taking off I just stopped taking care of it. So, I look forward to any tips and words of encouragement to get me on the right track. My fotki hasn't been updated in Lord know's when but, I plan to update it in the near future.

Thanks in advance,

Nella

Sure, I'm happy to help. But first please let us know what you have been doing and using.

Products and frequency of use. Do you DC? how often?
Vitamins?
Growth Aides?
Heat use?

My first suggestion is that you start drinking 8 glasses of water a day and taking a multi vitamin.

Hi,

Sorry I had stepped away for a moment. My routine consisted of washing and rollersetting two times a week. My routine was pretty basic as I used Mane N Tale - shampoo & conditioner, aphogee reconstructor every two weeks. I used Design Essentials moisturizing to keep my hair hydrated when it needed it most. Then twice a month I would use DE's Therapuetic Anti Itch shampoo and conditioner.

I usually kept my hair rollerset with Motions Foaming Wrap Lotion and sat under the pibbs. My favorites oils for my hair are jojoba and shea butter.

Is there a good brand that you can recommend?

Is it possible that you have a protein overload? I think both mane n tail and aphogee contain protein.

I'm in. I can always use more hair buddies, and I'm better at helping other than doing for myself. Also, I'm not sure mane and tail has enough protein to be a problem- but I could be wrong. Been years since I used it.
