HELP...My Cousin wants me to trim her hair for her!!!

Maybe I should just tell her to go to a stylist.erplexed

She has never been to a stylist before, so she is nervous. I always care for her hair as much as I can. She is shoulder length relaxed.

Anyone have any advise or some videos I can look at?

I will not do it unless I feel that I have some kind of knowledge of how to do it....The girl is only 15, she is game, but I think she will kinda freak out if I mess her hair.

I have done some dusting for her, but her hair is uneven and needs a good trim.

If all she wants is a trim, just take off no more than 1/2 inch all around, and make sure not to cut the same hair twice, so use clips. Shouldn't be a big deal, unless she wants you to cut it into a style.

Don't cut it unless you'd confidently cut your own hair. If you feel you could do you justice, then proceed.

if you don't feel comfortable, i wouldn't do it...people get funny about their hair...i'd rather have my friend get mad with a stylist over her hair than me...
