Help! My Box Braids Were Bluntly Cut. Can They Be Fixed?

So, long story short, my box braids are bluntly cut. Is there anything to do to thin them out, so they look less choppy?

Maybe try unraveling them a little bit at the ends and thinning them out with a pair of thinning shears? That's the only thing I can think of. Might be really time consuming, though.

I like pygmy's suggestion . You could go retro and burn the ends or maybe roll the ends and dip in hot water to try to salvage the style.
