Are you relaxed or natural? It's going to be hard to tell if you have a relaxer unless you have a lot of new growth.

I am relaxed.

Here is a photo of me with some new growth after roller set

If I know my hair type will that indicate to me what products to use.

I know I cant use hardly any oil or it make my hair tooo heavy.

You need a couple inches of new growth to really be able to tell. And even then the weight of your relaxed hair will affect the way your texture looks.

Hair type can help you figure out things that may or may not work for you, especially if you look at others with the same hair type. But, that's not always true.

It's more important to know if your strands are fine or coarse, thin or thick, and whether you've had chemical services done.
