Help me with my braid-out . . ..

Whenever I do a braid out the only style I can do with it is just put a clip on the front to hold it back. Everytime I try to do a french twist or something else with it, it winds up looking like an afro.

What am I doing wrong?

Somebody please tell me . . .

Maybe you could try a twist-out. You get much looser waves and will prolly be able to do more with it.

I just put on a head band or do some flat twists in the front. I really don't care if it looks like a fro because that look is in also.

You're not running your fingers thru it are you? When I did that I got a big ole' Jackson Five fro....also, use as few braids as possible...I do three...one on each side and one or two in the back (one over the other cause I like some height back there...HTH
