Is this relaxed hair? You need 2-3 inches of new growth with no products to tell the hair type.

Hey ReeseCup - I just mentioned in another thread that according to Andre Walker (Oprah), you need at least an inch of new growth in order to type your hair. Once you get an inch, he says that you can pull a hair strand and determine "whatcha got."

Look towards your family. What type of hair do they have?
