Hello My New Sister Friends ,
Okay, I have been reading a lot of post on here. I have viewed a lot of hair albums. I noticed that there is not a lot of flat ironing and hot curling going on. A common denominator is a protective style. In the past, I have worn buns and phony ponies. But they seem to break my hair. I know I am doing something wrong. I want hair like Babygurl. My questions are:
1. What are you using to slick the hair down? (gels, glaze, etc)
2. Are you applying the slick stuff daily?
3. How often are you shampoo the product out of your hair?
4. How often are you moving the position of the bun or phony ponies?
I am still tenderheaded from the press and curl days, so braids aren't an option for me.
