Help me get this style PLEASE!

My profile pic is a 3/4 wig. I think my hair is long enough to get this braidout look. I've never done one. I'm partially texlaxed and bonelaxed. What do I need to do to get this style without tangling at the root? How many braids? What products would you suggest for me?
