Ladies,

I am 4b natural. Just over the last few months I have noticed an increased amount of knots on the ends of my hair.
I just lost quite a bit of length trimming about 3 weeks ago and again knots on the end.
I am having a hard time combing through all of a sudden.
I must admit that I am not doing an extensive routine as I use to, Often I don't wrap my hair at night. I know this has a lot to do with it. It seems as if my hair is kinker. I don't want to loose anymore length.
Any suggest and produts to soften my hair without chemical.

Currently doing a
Conditioner wash everyday
Dabur Vatika Hair oil

My knots reduces dramatically after I got my hair texlaxed.:look: *runs out of thread*

P.S. Maybe you need to start trying to keep your ends straighter.

So where you natural?
Did you get alot of knots?
I am so upset because I lost a least 2 inches. My hair was growing very well. I am not sure what to do.
I make sure to always extra mositurize my ends.
Any product suggestions?

I was natural for 7 years. Yep, I got zillions of knots. I would cut and have new knots within weeks. I honestly believe that if you are doing everything else right then you need to look at ways to keep your ends straighter. It could be as simple as cornrowing your hair or lightly blow drying it if you don't want to texlax.

No product I used worked. Oil rinses seemed to help a bit. Also, make sure that you are thoroughly detangling when you do it.

Others may have suggestions.

When my ends are well-moisturized and I tie my hair up at night, I do not get knots. Keeping my ends off of my clothes have also helped a lot. To moisturize my ends, I spritz with water, EO's, CD's Hair Milk, and Giovanni Direct Leave In, and then seal with CD's Healthy Hair Butter.

How are you moisturizing your ends? Are you sealing the moisture in? For years, I was just moisturizing or just sealing but rarely (or not consistently) doing both together.

ETA: Also, I have been DC'ing regularly, and that has helped a TON. My hair stays soft and lush. I DC with Kenra Moisturizing Conditioner.

Sterry, how do you wear your hair for the night? I don't get knots as much as everyone else seems to get them, but I have never gone to bed without wearing my hair in braids. Braids keep my hair tangle free, so perhaps they might work for you? If I plan on wearing my hair out, I usually apply SCurl then put my hair in plaits for the night. In the morning it combs like a dream.

At night I normally wet apply castor oil and comb hair back. Or I do braid my hair.
It is so odd because it seems as if the knots just started.
Is it possible just to leave a texturizer or relaxer on the ends only for 3 -5 minutes.
The end will be trimmed eventually!

Tuck in your ends. Don't wear them out all the time. When when I don't flat iron I wear a French roll with a banana clip.

Also, I get them less when my hair is straight.

Sterry, can you examine the ends and see if they're split? I don't know if this could be a factor but I do know a few people that simply cut knots out when they find them and that seems to solve the problem; not just the problem of having them, but also seems to reduce the frequency with which they occur. Just a thought.
