Help - I have a bald spot in front!

Thanks to years of pulling my hair back in a bun and always parting my hair in the same place (for bangs, rollers, whatever), I have a spot just right of center on my hairline where my hair has thinned out. Other than cutting back on the behavior that led to the problem in the first place, I'm wondering if anyone can recommend any products that might help with this? Otherwise, I'm stuck doing a comb-over.

Thanks,

GG

I have the same problem. My doc gave me some cream/foam that's not working. I'm just going to not manipulate that area and let it grow back in.

I had used MTG, WGHO, and/or castor oil. It took about two months for it to fill in fully. My problem was wearing the tight wig caps (affectionately known as head condoms  ) and the wig rubbed up against my hairline. I lost a patch of hair about the size of a nickel.

I must say what I am using is helping my bald spots fill in nicely. I have them on both sides and no one ever commented on me loosing my hair but they are commenting on how they notice my hair line thickening up. I had stop the pony tails with the smoothed down edges, oh how I hate radedy edges that stick up. But any way. I am swearing by these products.
Boundless Tresses and BB Growth Serum. The serum has essential oils that I am using with the BT. I have only been using them for a few weeks and I have new growth where there was not much hair. These are keepers. I also Use Amla oil as a pre poo. I gently massage my scalp nightly.

I already shared in the past what worked to repair my bald spots. My recipe and success in pics (more on later pages) can be found here. That was in 2003-2004 and I've never looked back. I didn't need to continue using the concoction once the hair grew back, so no need to worry about becoming dependent on the product like one would w/ minoxidil aka Rogaine.

I hope you are doing well!!

I have a similiar problem from parting at the same spot and I have been using Vatika oil on that area and it is filling in nicely, I am actually shocked myself.
