Your hair looks as though it's heat trained (from use of flat-iron)--and it may take a while while you grow out your hair to determine your true texture.

I think your right, but i only started using my flat iron my senior year and due to test stress it fell out and mom cut it but post to that i only kept my hair in buns and damp. Also my mom dye her hair constantly -_-.

did most of your hair fall out and your mom cut you bald after OR

did you just get a few inches off. If the latter then you need to wait atleast 6 months to determine your true texture from what you see out of your scalp. Hair grows atleast 1/2 inch a month with the front growing a bit slower than the back for most people.

Heat training can happen in one session

NOO noooo BC but she cut it a few(so she said and was apl to neck length) inches off in August.

ok then I stand by what I wrote.

Give yourself a good 6 months of no heat and measure the back at about 1 1/2 inches.

Even though this may look like your true texture it wont be because you will still have the straighter hair weighing it down.

Be patient grasshopper, you will know your true texture soon enough.:)
