Hi Ladies,

I noticed everyone says that after you use the Aphogee 2 minute Reconstructor you should follow up with a deep conditioner. I wanted to know if I could use the Alte Ego Ipac Ego with Garlic as a follow-up deep conditioner.

I'm about to wash my hair any advice would be GREATLY appreciated.

i dont think you need to follow 2 minute with a deep conditioner. its the 2 step you need to follow up with moisture.

Yes its generally good to follow up protein with moisture to stop your hair getting hard and brittle.

just my 2 cents anyway

OP, I've done that before and it came out fine.

Don't stone me, but I just really don't like the aphogee 2nd step.

I always use a deep condish after aphogee because mi hair feels a little dry afterwards

Thanks, ladies. I don't think never used the Aphogee before. (I say "think" because I am a PJ and could have). Although the other threads from like previous years says its a light protein, my hair feels a little hard, yet strong (if thats possible).

Thanks for your help, I'm new to all this "protein" biz.
