I have a thought. What is the best for 4a/4b hair type to make it soft, steam or heat I read that steam helps penetrate conditioner on hair. Does steam only use for conditioning or can it be use to soft the hair when finish washing the hair? Sorry if I can’t explain my self clear. Can you give me more tips and info about it.

For my 4a/b hair, steam works better.
I go into the steam room at my gym with my conditioner on and the results are absoultely amazing. The results are quite different then when I use a conditioning cap or sit under the dryer....with steam the conditioner soaks and penetrates through to the hair.

I am considering buying a steamer so that I can condition at home. How do you do it?
