Has anyone ever tried this and how did it work? I have areas of underprocessing in various places along my hair shaft. It's not so easy to try and go back to touch up just those spots. If heat training could actually work, that seems like a much easier solution.

I try to do this back in 2010 but it just ended up turning into a transition.
As a person who heat trains, it took over a year to actually see a difference, and the difference is still pretty minimal and only on the very tips.
I think heat training underprocessed hair would probably take too long to really benefit, unless your hair natural texture is alter by heat very easily.
